JeZa photographed Karina & Andy’s wedding back in May of 2009, their wedding was our very 1st wedding gig ever!!  Since then Karina & Andy did not get enough of us and wanted us to do a trash the dress/post-wedding portrait session.   We finally got our acts together to do this on a beautiful August Saturday in City of Fremont. We can tell this newly wed are madly in-love with each other and super duper easy to work with.

Had a lot of fun hanging out with them and here are the images from this session:

Date: 8/1/2009

We photographed May & Zeke’s wedding day on this nice Saturday of November 21th, 2009 in Sacramento. We love photographing this wedding because there are so many Chinese traditional rituals have been incorporated in their wedding day: door game challenges, the combing of bride’s hair ceremonies,  tea ceremonies, fun banquet toasts & many more.   It was our honor to capture the sweet moments of both families welcoming May & Zeke as their new addition to their families.

Btw, I want to give HUGE props for May’s fabulous bridesmaids who planned those hardcore door games! Ladies you are so awesome!!

Date: Saturday November 21th, 2009

We also would like to share their loving slideshow of their wedding images:

It was such a romantic project to do this boudoir shoot on last Saturday.  As I watched the makeup artists and stylist prepping the set, I kept asking myself “Is this reality or it is a dream?”, both Je & I felt so surreal because we were surrounded by these four highly desirable, astonishing ladies on this beautiful day.  On top of that, I am thankful for all the talents who came because we shared a single vision –  to ROCK the fashion world with our feminine version of romantic lingerie looks.  We had a total blast during the shoot and I thought I was in a boudoir party at many moments during the shoot too: we had a lot of laughs, snacked on junk food, talked about boys and shared many silly jokes.  Most importantly, this shoot would not be successful without ANY of our crew member missing.  Thank you Jeremy, Jessie, Sophie, Aine, Germaine, Crystal, Amber and Miyouko. You guys ROCK!!!

Also big thanks to Scott Robert Lim my photography mentor who taught us about posing & model interaction; also Len Cook from our community college photography instructor who taught us about lighting set up. These skills became VERY handy for the shoot. THANK YOU!

Teasers up for now and we will post more pictures very soon, so stay tune! Happy Valentines Day everyone! Please say hello and leave us some lovely comments! XOXO!

It is our deepest sympathy to the victims of the Jan 15th Haiti Earthquake.  It’s really sad to see countless homes and lives has been lost, the entire city of Port-au-Prince has became a ruin.  I am thankful for our sponsor child, who is currently residing in a rural area and many miles away from Port-au-Prince is safe from the disaster. It has been in our mind everyday thinking about what we can do to help the surviors of the quake.  After many discussions and prayers, we’ve made a decision to donate 20% of all our photography proceeds to Haiti. This includes all forms of payments, deposits, intrim and final payments we will receive from clients by Feb 28th, 2010 will be going to  World Vision’s Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund. We will email our client our donation receipts as proof. Thank you for reading and supporting JeZa Photo.

Lastly, I would like to share this heart wrenching video from world vision with you all today.

It was our honor to photograph Kenny & Jessica’s wedding day in Sacramento on October 25th, 2009.

Jessica and Kenny are both residing in Sacramento, but they’ve bumped into each other a few times in night clubs in San Francisco before they started dating. They then officially introduced at a friend’s birthday party at the Applebee’s restaurant.  Kenny’s intial impression of Jessica was about how much alcohol Jessica can intake and Jessica remembered Kenny by his funny jokes. Their little crush at each other had sprung after their camping trip to Yosemite, from then they knew that they are more than just friends and fell in love.

It was so cute to get to know about this couple during their engagement sessions in SF. We had so much fun shooting without knowing time passed by so quickly until the sun was ready to set. From the day we shot the couple’s engagement session back in September, we knew their wedding day will be filled with lots of sweet & loving memories. It is our joy to go thru all their photos and pick the highlights to share with you.

Their DVD of wedding images is making its way to Sacramento today 🙂

Here is their wedding day photo slideshow on youtube –
